The Conversation is an on-line service publishing short news articles from academics specialising in
the subject matter. For example, they just published an article by the lady who discovered Alfred
the Great's (or his sons) hip bone. People have been searching for Alfred's remains for hundreds of
years; this is a wonderful find.

The Environment and Energy section editor is Michael Parker. He asked me if I could suggest others
who would like to write short articles on issues with nuclear power and safety and so on. I did!
