Perhaps your AI should have an 'ethics' governor, where you can set what
the response should be as the user in charge of the vehicle. If you're of a
selfish disposition then you can set it to save your life at all costs (to
hell with those nuns in the SUV!).While if you're more selfless you can set
it to favour the life of others.
Of course that would make for an interesting conversation with your
passengers. :)
