The Bookout v Toyota Barr expert evidence [available online] provides
an interesting background. Martyn
It was interesting to see how badly engineered the Toyota systems were
and, rightly, they did not stand up to close scrutiny. Dare we enquire
if
there will be a similar in depth enquiry where Skoda are persuaded to
be more open about their designs and invite a truly independent team
to look at the potential pitfalls in them.
