I am told there was/is a hardware issue, a couple of defect disks.

In fact, archives are available by month, up to and including the present, at
https://lists.techfak.uni-bielefeld.de/pipermail/systemsafety/

I'll generate a DNS request to get them linked to systemsafety.org and let everyone know when that
happens.
