Let me extend. That is not what Boeing says and it is not what the extensive reports by JATR and the
House Transportation Committee say either. If Boeing had been deliberately misleading on the reasons
for the introduction of MCAS, I consider it very likely that the House Committee would have found
out. They had, and used well, the power of subpoena.
