[SystemSafety] FAA's Hiring Scandal

I share your incredulity. It reminds me of a comment from an Islander woman of 
the Marshall Islands where the US nuclear weapons tests occurred. The 
radioactive fallout caused dreadful problems for the Islander communities, 
both indirect health impacts and in their damage to marine ecosystems. 

Her comment was,” Nuclear scientists are clever at doing stupid things.”
